As we age, changes in our vision and hearing are likely to occur. It’s important to be aware of eye-related or ear problems that could cause vision or hearing loss.
Some eye issues have no early warning signs or symptoms and aren’t noticed until their in advanced stages.
Age related hearing loss is common but it has recently been linked to an increase of health risks including dementia, depression, falls and cardiovascular disease.
Regular vision and hearing exams can ensure early detection of diseases and improve your chances of keeping your sight and hearing healthy.
To keep you informed of the visual and auditory challenges people encounter as they age, The Greens will be hosting the first of a complimentary two part Health Series Presentation on Thursday, May 23rd 2019.
