The National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) is an organization dedicated to promoting excellence, innovation and advocacy among assisted living communities. NCAL annually sponsors Assisting Living Week (Sept. 9 – Sept.15), an exciting seven-day event designed to recognize the vital role assisted living plays in the lives of America’s seniors. This year’s theme, Capture the Moment, reminds residents – through a series of fun, inclusive and meaningful activities — how important it is to celebrate and honor yesterday while enjoying, embracing and living in the moment.
