Five-Star Quality Rating Given to Wilton Meadows

Wilton Meadows Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, has earned a Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System assigns nursing facilities nationwide with a rating between one and five stars. Those care facilities with Five-Stars are considered to have a “much above average” quality compared to other nursing home facilities in their state.

“Health inspections, nurse staffing and quality determine the CMS ‘Five Star’ designation but the compassionate care and skill of our colleagues must be recognized too. I congratulate the full team at Wilton Meadows on this outstanding achievement and thank them for the work they do every single day in serving those entrusted to our care,” said Ellen Casey, Administrator for Wilton Meadows.

The ratings are based on the star rating for the following categories-Health Inspections, Quality Measures, and Staffing Levels at the facility.  The data for the ratings comes from the last three years of health inspections, the average number of hours of care provided to each resident by a member of the nursing department, and more than 10 physical and clinical measures.
