Summer is the season to eat fresh and stay active! This week, at the first workshop of our Summer Wellness series called Physically Fit and Fresh Eating, attendees learned how to fuel the mind and body with the season’s bounty!
The workshop included fresh cuisine samplings by our Chef Biagio and demonstrations of his healthy recipes which included fresh ingredients from our garden. Our campus registered dietician, Melanie Rotante gave some tips on eating fresh and answered questions from the audience. Certified fitness instructor, Garner Lester offered ways to stay fit and to keep our brains healthy.
