Specifically tailored for those with memory impairment and dementia, our Evergreen Program at The Greens at Cannondale offer a full range of memory care services.

The Evergreen program is designed to maintain our residents’ cognitive abilities while keeping them socially engaged.

Our mission in creating Evergreen was to establish a “gently structured” environment that’s comfortable and secure where your loved one’s individual needs and qualities are recognized and respected.

The program is specific to the needs of each individual resident and takes into account personal interactive styles, personal history, and important connections to the past. Our staff takes the time to discover the personal history of each resident and knows how important those connections are.

Quality Care and Expertise

Our Evergreen residents live in our first-floor apartments which are situated around lovely secure walkways and a garden courtyard.

Our high staff-to-resident ratio includes a full-time nurse, and all members of our staff have been specially trained, earning certification in the Alzheimer’s Association Dementia Training Program. Their skills enable them to cater to a wide spectrum of dementia care, from residents in early stages to those who respond better to other approaches such as sensory exercises, aromatherapy, psychiatric services, and certified music therapy.
